The Frozen Lemonade Cup is an annual youth ice hockey event that celebrated it’s 4th year in 2018. The event features 7-12 year old hockey players from Philadelphia (Ice Line, West Chester, PA), Boston (Essex Sports Center, Middleton, MA) and Washington DC (Rockville Ice Arena, Rockville, MD) battling to fight childhood cancer.
The Frozen Lemonade Cup is not a traditional tournament. Instead of competing with your winter team, you will make new friends on a team put together just for tournament day. The teams are selected to ensure parity, based on age and ability. In future years, we hope to be able to expand The Frozen Lemonade Cup to all 31 NHL cities in the United States and Canada.
The Frozen Lemonade Cup just celebrated its 4th year and raised over $60,000 in 2018, all benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
